This is my fourth year teaching in Manhattan. Before that I taught at a private school in Connecticut and international schools in Shanghai. I am one of the founding teachers of a Manhattan public school. Our school is a welcoming place for students of all backgrounds including many English language learners—mainly children of foreign diplomats.
